    Olcott Beach Carousel Park

    A true blast from the past that harkens back to the 1920s with a Herschel-Spillman carousel, a 1934 Wurlitzer Band Organ, a vintage arcade with skee ball and five vintage rides for the kids. Recently refurbished by the entire town, the Carousel Park is a symbol of our community. You can create memories for your young ones with little cost as there is no admission fee to the park and all rides are only 25¢.

    Olcott Beach Lighthouse

    The historic Olcott Lighthouse has been rebuilt and sits stoically on the pier overlooking Lake Ontario. The lighthouse is a landmark that has history dating back to the 1870s as it guided sailing vessels on Lake Ontario to safe harbor. It makes for a lovely photo opportunity and an even better spot to take in a sublime summer sunset with the people you care most about.

    Van Horn Mansion

    Built in 1823 by Judge James Van Horn, the Van Horn Mansion was the site of the first ever Town of Newfane town meeting. Now it’s the area’s most prized venue for weddings or other special occasions such as showers and anniversary parties. The Victorian design makes for the perfect romantic backdrop for family and newlywed photos as do the picturesque grounds and verandah. The Van Horn Mansion is also open every Sunday afternoon for guided tours. For the brave, the Mansion has haunted tours as well.
